There is never a right time, it is the time

This is one of my first few articles since I started my writing journey. I know the feeling when you want to take an action but start thinking that you are not good enough or you don’t have enough experience, money or network to start with. Have you ever heard that I want to join gym and want to lose some weight but I have a party on Friday so I will start from Monday and Monday rolls down to Tuesday to Friday and the day never comes.

Many of us wait for the right time to kick off our start-up or wait for right time to start reading or writing a book. We look for the right time to go on a long awaited vacation with our parents.

You will never get a right time for that perfect moment to express your love to someone you wanted to express since the time you first saw him/her. It sounds crazy but true.

“Do not wait: the time will never be ‘just right’. Start where you stand, and work with whatever tools you may have at your command and better tools will be found as you go along.”― Napoleon Hill

That first step  – The first step, yes! You don’t need to think about the perfection in the destination if you haven’t yet started your journey, take the first step. We waste so much our precious time waiting for the right time knowing the fact that right time never comes.

Don’t do over thinking; chances are that you may ruin your whole excitement and idea of starting something. If you are so passionate about the idea, give yourself a green signal and take the first step. When you take a new direction, it doesn’t have to be perfect, it just has to be a Step. Taking your first step means half of the work is done and another half depends upon your consistency.

Don’t procrastinate – Most of us have the habit of delaying our plans especially the plans and actions where we are independent decision makers. People procrastinate and make excuses because they feel that they are not competent enough or don’t have enough resources. What if they fail, how will they face family and friends if nothing worked out.

People keep on procrastinating and it becomes an unending process. Eventually, their important actions become critical and they go in a zone of even higher self-doubt. Remember, no motivation works if you have self-doubt.

Stop acting as if life is a rehearsal. Live this day as if it were your last. The past is over and gone. The future is not guaranteed.
— Wayne Dyer

There is only one life without guarantees. What is going to happen in the next moment is uncertain. How can we postpone our actions for tomorrow? Live in the moment, embrace the time and opportunity and run with it. Don’t wait for any magical time. Even if it exists, you may not be able to identify it with surety.

When time doesn’t wait for us then why shall we wait for the right time?

Be an outlier

“Outliers are those who have been given opportunities — and who have had the strength and presence of mind to seize them.” — Malcom Gladwell

According to Malcom Gladwell, outliers do things out of the ordinary. They understand that time is limited. They don’t wait for the right time they just identify and seize the opportunity right away.

Now is the time– It’s never too late to start. There will always be self-analysis, self-doubt and many random negative thoughts but the only way is to act upon them. There is a saying “too much analysis leads to paralysis”, so don’t make your first step paralysed. Don’t do that; don’t kill your passion with every negative analysis and over thinking, because unless you start you would never know where you actually belong.

“Don’t wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions. So what. Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful.” — Mark Victor Hansen

There is only one at the top and it may be you. To be there you need to start. Give life to your dreams.

You don’t need to be brave to kick start your actions, dreams or ideas. You just need to start and be consistent. No matter how difficult and impossible it seems but it’s all right do it anyway. Nothing great happens easily.

You will never be able to get your 100th best article, book, painting, Vlog, video, song until and unless you start with your 1st one.

Better to do it now than regret it whole life.

Now is the time!!

This topic is full of massive inspiration for the mortals who are engaged in their new ventures, embarking on a new journey or continuing with their passions. It is a mixed bag for people to be consistent and also leaves an enthusiasm to be excited for the first baby step they are going to take. A much needed write-up.

Hi Deepak, whatever little bit I have learned from my experiences is that I can not control every incident in my life but what I can control is my thought and my action. My real success in life is determined by how I deal with my disappointments and failures.
success comes after number of failures which is again a result of attempts. Procrastination of actions just because of fear that it may go wrong will not only delay your failure, it delays your success too, however it needs proper thought process before taking any action.
” We only need one significant success to change our destiny” .
Hope this is helpful. I shall be sharing my detailed view on this with ways to cope up through situations. thanks 🙂
